You respond 3♦(weak in your system) but not surprisingly opener is... solutions in MS
Solutions in MAJEURE SECURISEE :
First, let me introduce the 1♦ opening.
1♦ = 5+♦ unbalanced 11-23 HCP. 2 exceptions: 4-4-4-1, 5♦-3-3-2 (17+ -19 HCP)
If 5♦-4♥-2-2 or 5♦-4 ♣-2-2 little concentrated open 1♣ or 1NT.
As 1♦ opening is unbalanced, you may have to play some particuliar developments. In particular to bid the
5+♠-4+♥ not strong
enough to
make a second bid after opener's rebid of 2♣ or 2♦ (which has a good chance of occuring since opener is unbalanced).
Here they are :
2♦ = 5+♠-4+♥ . 3-7 HCP. diamond support possible, too weak to prospect by 1♠.
2♥ = 5+♠-4+♥ . 8-10 HCP. Maxi 2♦ . With 3+♦, bid 1♠ then 2♥ forcing 1 round.
2♠ = 6♠-4+♥ . 8-10 HCP. Could be 5♠ if the suit is solid.

Your partner respond 1♥.
You bid 1NT GAZZILLI. If responder is weak, and bid 2♦ you stay there. If he bids 2♣ (7+ HCP) you jump to 3♦ forcing.
N°4 : | ♠ | A | ♥ |
K1052 |
♦ | KQJ98 | ♣ | QJ3 |
Your partner respond 1♠.
You bid 1NT GAZZILLI.
If responder is weak, and bid 2♦ you stay there. If he bids 2♣ (7+ HCP) you bid 2♦ non forcing. Don't worry, you are not going
to miss a heart fit. If partner is weak with four hearts he would have bid his major two-suiter at the first round.
