Solutions in MAJEURE SECURISEE :

First, let me introduce the 1 opening.

1 = 5+ unbalanced 11-23 HCP. 2 exceptions: 4-4-4-1, 5-3-3-2 (17+ -19 HCP)

       If 5-4-2-2 or 5-4 ♣-2-2 little concentrated open 1♣ or 1NT.

 As 1 opening is unbalanced, you may have to play some particuliar developments. In particular to bid the 5+-4+ not strong enough to

make a second bid after opener's rebid of 2 or 2(which has a good chance of occuring since opener is unbalanced).

Here they are :

2 = 5+♠-4+ . 3-7 HCP. diamond support possible, too weak to prospect by 1♠.

2 = 5+♠-4+ . 8-10 HCP. Maxi 2 . With 3+, bid 1♠ then 2 forcing 1 round.

2♠ = 6♠-4+ . 8-10 HCP. Could be 5♠ if the suit is solid.

Your partner respond 1.

You bid 1NT GAZZILLI. If responder is weak, and bid 2 you stay there. If he bids 2 (7+ HCP) you jump to 3 forcing.

N°4 : A K1052
KQJ98 QJ3

Your partner respond 1.

You bid 1NT GAZZILLI. If responder is weak, and bid 2 you stay there. If he bids 2 (7+ HCP) you bid 2 non forcing. Don't worry, you are not going to miss a heart fit. If partner is weak with four hearts he would have bid his major two-suiter at the first round.
